Terms of Service
Last updated 12 July 2026
1. Who we are
Opsentio is operated by Opsentio Ltd ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the Opsentio service. By signing up you accept them.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
You must give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
3. What you pay
Subscription fees are shown on our pricing page and are billed monthly in advance. Prices exclude VAT unless stated.
We may change prices, but we will give you at least 30 days' notice and the change will not apply until your next renewal. If you don't like the new price, cancel before it takes effect.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time and it takes effect at the end of your current billing month. We don't lock you into a term and we don't charge an exit fee.
We don't refund part-months as a rule — but if we've genuinely let you down, ask, and we'll be reasonable about it.
4. Your data is yours
You own everything you put into Opsentio. We don't sell it, we don't use it to train anything, and we don't share it with anyone except the suppliers listed in our Privacy Policy who help us run the service.
You can export a full backup of your data at any time from within the app, in a standard format, without asking us. If you cancel, you can still export for 30 days afterwards, after which we delete it.
5. What we promise
We will make reasonable efforts to keep Opsentio available and to keep your data safe and backed up. We take security seriously and will tell you promptly if anything happens that affects your data.
We can't promise the service will never be unavailable. We'll give notice of planned maintenance where we can.
6. What we don't do
Opsentio is an operations tool. It is not accounting software and it is not accounting advice. It does not keep a general ledger, calculate your tax, or file anything with HMRC. Where Opsentio connects to Xero or similar, it sends data for your accountant to review — you remain responsible for your own books and your own tax.
Figures Opsentio shows you (costs, margins, stock levels) are calculated from what you put in. They're only as good as your inputs and you should sanity-check anything you're going to make a decision on.
7. Acceptable use
Don't use Opsentio to break the law, to store anything you have no right to, or to attack or disrupt the service or other customers. We may suspend an account that does.
8. Our liability
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited.
Otherwise, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. We're not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses.
This is a normal limit for software at this price, and it's why you should keep your own exports of anything that matters to you.
9. Ending it
You can leave whenever you like. We can end your account if you break these terms, don't pay, or if we stop offering the service — in which case we'll give you reasonable notice and refund any period you've paid for but not used.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
